Henschke Henry's Seven 2005
|Region||Australia, South Australia, Barossa|
Deep crimson with brick red hues. Sweet, lifted aromas of dark berries and plums supported by hints of apricot and lavender florals with layers of savoury spice and tar. The palate is rich and luscious with dense berry fruits, fine tannins and a long, smooth finish.
Lithe and open-textured, with ripe raspberry and white chocolate flavors at the fore, followed by hints of peach pit as the finish sails on and on. Finishes a tad hot. Shiraz, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Viognier. Drink now through 2013. 150 cases imported.
