Deep grenadine with dark ruby hues. Lovely warm intense fruit reminiscent of brambles and ripe raspberries, mingling with minty chocolate and oaky vanilla aromas. Soft cashmere tannins melt in the mouth. Rich, fruity and a long, lingering finish. The wine has a roundness and innate harmony, which belies its intensity, strength, and concentration.

Ripe and broad, with a dried tomato note weaving through the ripe currant and plum flavors. Persists well, with a licorice note adding interest to the rangy finish. Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mourvèdre with Carignane and Muscadelle. Best after 2008.
