Deep, ruby colour with violet reflexes. On the nose, rich fruit aromas particularly of plums and cherries with hints of violets, cinnamon, cocoa and leather. On the palate, full with soft complex tannins. Due to its structure and characteristics it is a perfect match for roast meats, game and mature cheeses.
Wild and exotic red. Prunotto is really making great Barbera now. Enticing nose, with black fruit, stony minerals and a hint of incense. Full-bodied, with a well-balanced, smooth palate, with lightly velvety tannins, lots of flavor and a long finish. Racy Barbera. Drink now through 2007.
