The grapes used in the Vin Santo are fermented and aged in small caratelli barrels for 5 years before bottling. The wine is deep amber in color. It is sweet and intense with pure and penetrating aromas of peach, caramel, dried apricot and hazelnut. Very fine acidity gives rare lift to the hazelnut, peach and white chocolate flavors. This outstanding sweet wine finishes extremely complex and long.
