Ruby-red in color, on the nose it offers suggestive notes of tobacco, blackberry, mocha and spices, with hints of dried fruits. Fat, super-ripe, rich and chewy in the mouth with liqueur-like red currant flavors complicated by minerals, cedar, leather and black spices. The finish is big, with polished tannins framing a solid and massive structure. The most concetrated and richest of Roberto Voerzio's Barolos. Excellent with rich meat fare and aged cheeses.
Offers aromas of blackberry, licorice and tar. Intense and full-bodied, with a wonderful concentration of fruit, supersilky tannins and a complex finish of pure fruit and Indian spices. Superb for the vintage. Best after 2012. 405 cases made.
